European stock markets are trading higher on Friday ahead of key jobs data from the United States and increasing concerns over trade and foreign policy of President Donald Trump.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 15.17 points or 0.47 percent to trade at 3,268.78. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 11.88 points or 0.17 percent to trade at 7,152.63.
Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX rose 31.15 points or 0.27 percent to trade at 11,659.10. French benchmark index CAC 40 rose 30.87 points or 0.64 percent to trade at 4,825.16.
On Thursday, European stock markets closed lower. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 fell 5.31 points or 0.16 percent to settle at 3,253.61. Germany's benchmark index DAX declined 31.55 points or 0.27 percent to end at 11,627.95. French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 0.29 points or 0.01 percent to end at 4,794.29.
