European stock markets are trading lower on Monday with investors focused on corporate earnings and digesting international concerns over U.S President Donald Trump's introduction of a travel ban on refugees coming from seven Muslim-majority countries.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 declined 29.95 points or 0.91 percent to trade at 3,273.38. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 lost 63.24 points or 0.88 percent to trade at 7,121.25.
Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX fell 83.06 points or 0.7 percent to trade at 11,731.21. French benchmark index CAC 40 lost 48.36 points or 1 percent to trade at 4,791.62.
On Friday, European stock markets closed lower. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 lost 15.80 points or 0.48 percent to settle at 3,303.33. Germany's benchmark index DAX declined 34.36 points or 0.29 percent to end at 11,814.27. French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 27.26 points or 0.56 percent to end at 4,839.98.
