European stock markets closed higher on Friday, as investors were eyeing the release of euro zone inflation data later in the day, after a disappointing reading in Germany on Thursday.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 19.35 points or 0.56 percent to settle at 3,500.93. Germany's benchmark index DAX rose 56.44 points or 0.46 percent to end at 12,312.87. French benchmark index CAC 40 rose 32.87 points or 0.65 percent to end at 5,122.51.
On the other hand, UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 declined 46.60 points or 0.63 percent to close at 7,322.92.
