European stock markets closed higher on Wednesday as investors digested comments from President-elect Donald Trump's first press conference.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 1.73 points or 0.05 percent to settle at 3,307.94. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 15.02 points or 0.21 percent to close at 7,290.49.
Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 62.87 points or 0.54 percent to end at 11,646.17. French benchmark index CAC 40 went up 0.48 points or 0.01 percent to end at 4,888.71.
