Base metal prices settle higher in global markets

Industrial metal prices settled higher in the global markets on Thursday. Zinc gained the most with the rise of 4.56 percent followed by Lead (2.83 percent), Copper (1.52 percent), and Aluminim (0.35 percent) at the London Metal Exchange(LME). On the other hand, Tin dropped with fall of 0.15 percent.

Copper prices went up $86.00 or 1.52 percent to settle at $5,736.00 per MT at the London Metal Exchange (LME). Aluminium prices went up $6.50 or 0.35 percent to close at $1,872.00 per MT. Zinc prices jumped $117.50 or 4.56 percent to close at $2,697.00 per MT.

Nickel prices gained $20.00 or 0.22 percent to close at $8,910.00 per MT. Lead prices jumped $60.00 or 2.83 percent to close at $2,181.00 per MT. Tin prices declined $30.00 or 0.15 percent to close at $19,695.00 per MT.
