Asian stock markets are trading higher on Thursday, taking their cues from a Wall Street bounce, while the dollar crawled up from a four-month low but remains clouded by concerns about U.S. President Donald Trump's pro-growth policies.

Japan's benchmark index, Nikkei 225 rose 15.25 points or 0.08 percent to trade at 19,056.63. China's benchmark index, Shanghai Composite went up 12.14 points or 0.37 percent to trade at 3,257.35. Hong Kong's Hang Seng went up 122.48 points or 0.5 percent to trade at 24,442.89.

Singapore's Straits Times gained 10.78 points or 0.35 percent to trade at 3,128.97. South Korea's KOSPI gained 7.53 points or 0.35 percent to trade at 2,175.83. Taiwan's TAIEX gained 2.66 points or 0.03 percent to trade at 9,925.32.
