Asian stock markets are trading higher on Wednesday. Japan's benchmark index, Nikkei 225 went up 122.35 points or 0.64 percent to trade at 19,241.34. China's benchmark index, Shanghai Composite gained 11.31 points or 0.35 percent to trade at 3,253.04.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 44.86 points or 0.19 percent to trade at 23,785.59. Singapore's Straits Times went up 19.03 points or 0.61 percent to trade at 3,115.64. South Korea's KOSPI rose 6.12 points or 0.29 percent to trade at 2,091.64.

On the other hand, Taiwan's TAIEX lost 31.80 points or 0.33 percent to trade at 9,718.67.
