Asian stock markets are trading higher on Tuesday. Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 134.62 points or 0.61 percent to trade at 22,356.84. Singapore's Straits Times rose 11.42 points or 0.41 percent to trade at 2,798.69.

South Korea's KOSPI gained 2.38 points or 0.12 percent to trade at 1,976.78. Taiwan's TAIEX rose 22.49 points or 0.25 percent to trade at 8,962.89.

On the other hand, Japan's benchmark index, Nikkei 225 declined 21.25 points or 0.12 percent to trade at 17,651.37. China's benchmark index, Shanghai Composite fell 4.29 points or 0.13 percent to trade at 3,206.09.
