European stock markets are trading higher on Wednesday. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 14.79 points or 0.4 percent to trade at 3,712.17.

While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 35.52 points or 0.52 percent to trade at 6,808.56. Germany's benchmark index DAX gained 49.30 points or 0.41 percent to trade at 12,015.47.

Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 went up 28.52 points or 0.57 percent to trade at 5,062.16.
