European stock markets extended gains on Friday amid a global rally, after jumping the most in more than three years yesterday.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 gained 13.83 points or 0.44 percent to trade at 3,167.60. While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 rose 40.79 points or 0.63 percent to trade at 6,506.79.
Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 50.43 points or 0.51 percent to trade at 9,861.49. Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 rose 29.37 points or 0.69 percent to trade at 4,278.86.
