European stock markets are trading higher on Wednesday. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 rose 8.71 points or 0.27 percent to trade at 3,234.86.

While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 17.38 points or 0.26 percent to trade at 6,748.52. Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 40.02 points or 0.41 percent to trade at 9,901.23.

Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 rose 5.13 points or 0.12 percent to trade at 4,387.44.
