European stock markets settled mixed on Thursday. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 gained 12.87 points or 0.38 percent to settle at 3,371.83.

While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 declined 15.34 points or 0.23 percent to close at 6,810.60. Germany's benchmark index DAX rose 26.90 points or 0.25 percent to end at 10,737.87.

Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 went up 20.49 points or 0.44 percent to end at 4,631.43.
