European stocks may open higher on Friday. Europe's leading blue-chip index EURO STOXX 50 index futures went up 2.94% to trade at 3,150. Germany's benchmark index DAX futures went up 2.32% to trade at 9,796. UK's benchmark index, FTSE 100 futures increased to 1.59% to trade at 6,454.5.

On Thursday, European stock markets closed sharply higher. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 jumped 101.78 points or 3.23 percent to settle at 3,153.77. While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 129.52 points or 2 percent to close at 6,466.00. Germany's benchmark index DAX jumped 266.63 points or 2.79 percent to end at 9,811.06. Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 jumped 137.58 points or 3.35 percent to end at 4,249.49.
