Asian stock markets are trading higher on Friday. Japan's benchmark index, Nikkei 225 gained 32.30 points or 0.17 percent to trade at 18,818.09.

While China's benchmark index, Shanghai Composite gained 19.13 points or 0.58 percent to trade at 3,317.49. Hong Kong's Hang Seng gained 129.77 points or 0.52 percent to trade at 25,031.83.

Singapore's Straits Times gained 0.67 points or 0.02 percent to trade at 3,426.85. South Korea's KOSPI fell 0.99 points or 0.05 percent to trade at 1,992.09. Taiwan's TAIEX lost 77.44 points or 0.8 percent to trade at 9,622.10. (12:33am EST).
