Indian rupee has weakened on Friday against US dollar. Indian currency declined 3 paise or 0.05 percent against dollar to trade at 61.78.

Rupee has witnessed a high of 61.75 and a low of 61.87. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.89.

The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, fell 0.19 percent to trade at 95.11.

On Thursday, Indian rupee has appreciated against US dollar. Indian currency rose 21 paise or 0.34 percent against dollar to settle at 61.76. Rupee has witnessed a high of 61.72 and a low of 61.99. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.89.
