Indian rupee has strengthened on Wednesday against US dollar. Indian currency gained 3 paise or 0.05 percent against dollar to trade at 61.84.
Rupee has witnessed a high of 61.81 and a low of 61.86. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.31.
The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, declined 0.05 percent to trade at 87.89.
Swastika Investmart said, "Rupee may trade neutral to negative note against the dollar taking cues from positive GDP estimate from US. However, upbeat global market sentiments may cap sharp gains in the dollar."
