Indian rupee has strengthened on Friday against US dollar. Indian currency went up 51 paise or 0.80 percent against dollar to trade at 63.11. Rupee has witnessed a high of 63.11 and a low of 63.38. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.89.

The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, fell 3.10 percent to trade at 5.
