Gayatri Projects has bagged a new orders of Rs 14.83 billion (Package-I) and Rs 12.76 billion (Package-II) for development of Purvanchal Expressway Project from Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority on EPC basis.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till Jul. 19, 2018, rising 7.90% compared with the Sensex's 3.02% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 6.40% as against 5.59% rise in the Sensex.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 48.69% to 857,167 compared with 22-day average volume of 576,496.
Shares of the company gained Rs 2.25, or 1.2%, to trade at Rs 189.35. The total volume of shares traded was 572,292 at the BSE (9.42 a.m., Friday).
