Dollar-rupee futures gained on Tuesday. USDINR May contract went up 10 paise or 0.16 percent at 63.90 as against previous close of 63.81.
The most active May contract recorded a high of 63.9375 and a low of 63.8 after opening at 63.80.
A total of 0.14 million contracts were traded till 09:31 pm. Turnover for May contract was at Rs 8.65 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 1.54 million.
Indian rupee has depreciated on Tuesday against US dollar. Indian currency fell 14 paise or 0.22 percent against dollar to trade at 63.57.
