Dollar-rupee futures declined on Monday. USDINR June contract moved down 7 paise or 0.11 percent at 64.44 as against previous close of 64.51.
The most active June contract recorded a high of 64.4775 and a low of 64.3925 after opening at 64.48.
A total of 0.08 million contracts were traded till 09:31 pm. Turnover for June contract was at Rs4.95 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 0.91 million.
In spot market, rupee has gained 7 paise or 0.11 percent against dollar to trade at 64.36.
Local stock markets bounced back on Monday snapping earlier losses. At 9.27 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 169.03 points or 0.54% at 31,225.43 with 23 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 34.55 points or 0.36% at 9,622.60 with 39 components gaining.
