Dollar-rupee futures declined on Friday. USDINR February contract moved down 7 paise or 0.11 percent at 62.09 as against previous close of 62.16.
The most active February contract witnessed a high of 62.19 and a low of 62.0375 after opening at 62.19.
A total of 0.16 million contracts were traded till 09:34 pm. Turnover for February contract was at Rs9.73 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 1.53 million.
Indian rupee has strengthened on Friday against US dollar. Indian currency went up 7 paise or 0.11 percent against dollar to trade at 61.80.
