Indian equities continued to drop for the second day on Monday. At 9.49 a.m, the Sensex was trading down 25.86 points or 0.07% at 36,515.77. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 22.05 points or 0.20% at 10,996.85.

Major losers in the 30-share index were ICICI Bank (2.85%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (2.56%), Tata Motors (2.08%), Reliance Industries (1.85%), and State Bank Of India (1.11%).

On the other hand, Infosys (2.28%), Wipro (1.28%), Hindustan Unilever (1.27%), NTPC (0.85%), Asian Paints (0.84%), and Housing Development Finance Corporation (0.67%) were the biggest gainers in the Sensex.
