Indian equities continued to fall for the fourth day on Monday. At 12.16., the Sensex was trading down 288.74 points or 0.90% at 31,634.46. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 92.25 points or 0.93% at 9,872.15.

Major losers in the 30-share index were Tata Steel (3.05%), Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (3%), Larsen & Toubro (2.47%).

On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India (0.72%), Tata Consultancy Services (0.71%) and Reliance Industries (0.68%) were the biggest gainers in the Sensex.
