US stock markets settled higher on Thursday, boosted by results-related gains in Comcast, PayPal and Intuit.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 6.24 points or 0.03 percent to settle at 20,981.33. NASDAQ 100 index gained 30.20 points or 0.54 percent to close at 5,571.28. The broader S&P 500 index add 1.32 points or 0.06 percent to end at 2,388.77.
