Indian rupee has appreciated on Tuesday against US dollar. Indian currency rose 4 paise or 0.06 percent against dollar to trade at 61.83.

Rupee has witnessed a high of 61.82 and a low of 61.93. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.89.

The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, declined 0.17 percent to trade at 95.30.

On Monday, Indian rupee depreciated against US dollar. Indian currency declined 3 paise or 0.05 percent against dollar to settle at 61.87. Rupee has witnessed a high of 61.81 and a low of 62. Its 52-week range was 58.34-63.89.
