Reliance Capital quarterly net up 39.1% to Rs 3.52 bn

Reliance Capital announced a substantial rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2017. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 39.13% to Rs 3,520 million from Rs 2,530 million in the same quarter last year.

Revenues for the quarter rose 6.66% to Rs 52,540 million, compared with Rs 49,260 million for the prior year period.

Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 13.88, registering 38.38% growth over previous year period. 

As on September 30, 2017, the net worth of the company stood at Rs 160.27 billion.

As on September 30, 2017, the total assets of the company stood at Rs 885.48 billion, an increase of 22%.

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.65, or 1.2%, to trade at Rs 476.45. The total volume of shares traded was 180,292 at the BSE (10.02 a.m., Wednesday).
