Nucleus Software Exports to buy back shares worth Rs 1.17 bn

Nucleus Software Exports has received an approval to buy back 33.43 lakh equity shares representing up to 10.32% of the total paid-up equity share capital of the company.

The buyback price is Rs 350 a share for an aggregate amount not exceeding Rs 1.17 billion, which is 24.83% of the paid-up equity share capital and free reserves of the company for the financial year ended March 31, 2017.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 20.83% to 56,976 compared with 22-day average volume of 47,154.

Shares of the company gained Rs 3.35, or 1%, to trade at Rs 339.00. The total volume of shares traded was 14,598 at the BSE (11.07 a.m., Monday).
