Indian Hume Pipe Company has secured work of Rs 2.01 billion from Nagar Palika Nigam, Bilaspur, Chhatisgarh for Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme of Bilaspur Town with 72 MLD Intermediate capacity Water Treatment Plants with Operation & Maintenance on Turnkey Job basis including replacement & Warranty.

The work is to be completed within 30 months from the date of signing of the Agreement.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 46.34% to 31,640 compared with 22-day average volume of 58,963.

Shares of the company declined Rs 9.55, or 2.25%, to trade at Rs 414.00. The total volume of shares traded was 8,255 at the BSE (1.54 p.m., Monday).
