European stock markets settled mixed on Friday. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 rose 9.24 points or 0.25 percent to settle at 3,679.03.

While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 lost 40.31 points or 0.59 percent to close at 6,855.02.Germany's benchmark index DAX gained 24.65 points or 0.21 percent to end at 11,868.33.Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 gained 27.71 points or 0.55 percent to end at 5,034.06.
