European stock markets settled mixed on Wednesday. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 fell 13.62 points or 0.41 percent to settle at 3,358.96. While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 14.33 points or 0.21 percent to close at 6,825.94.

Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 82.39 points or 0.78 percent to end at 10,710.97. Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 13.27 points or 0.29 percent to end at 4,610.94.
