Dollar-rupee futures gained on Monday. USDINR May contract went up 9 paise or 0.14 percent at 63.64 as against previous close of 63.56.

The most active May contract recorded a high of 63.655 and a low of 63.5675 after opening at 63.61.

A total of 0.06 million contracts were traded till 09:33 pm. Turnover for May contract was at Rs 4.07 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 0.86 million.

In spot market, rupee has fell 10 paise or 0.16 percent against dollar to trade at 63.62.
