Dollar-rupee futures gained on Thursday. USDINR April contract moved up 1 paise or 0.02 percent at 65.15 as against previous close of 65.14.
The most active April contract touched a high of 65.1475 and a low of 65.07 after opening at 65.08.
A total of 0.1 million contracts were traded till 09:20 pm. Turnover for April contract was at Rs6.31 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 1.66 million.
In spot market, rupee has fell 2 paise or 0.03 percent against dollar to trade at 64.93.
Indian equities continued to rally for the third day on Thursday. At 9.15., the Sensex was trading up 9.12 points or 0.03% at 29,540.55 with 15 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 1.20 points or 0.01% at 9,142.60 with 27 components falling.
