Dollar-rupee futures gained on Thursday. USDINR May contract moved up 22 paise or 0.35 percent at 63.88 as against previous close of 63.66.
The most active May contract touched a high of 63.96 and a low of 63.735 after opening at 63.80.
A total of 0.29 million contracts were traded till 09:32 pm. Turnover for May contract was at Rs18.46 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 1.32 million.
Indian rupee has depreciated on Thursday against US dollar. Indian currency declined 30 paise or 0.47 percent against dollar to trade at 63.61.
