Dollar-rupee futures fall 7 paise in early trade

Dollar-rupee futures declined on Monday. USDINR March contract moved down 7 paise or 0.11 percent at 65.51 as against previous close of 65.57.

The most active March contract touched a high of 65.52 and a low of 65.45 after opening at 65.49.

A total of 0.11 million contracts were traded till 09:27 pm. Turnover for March contract was at Rs7.23 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 1.44 million.

In spot market, rupee has up 4 paise or 0.06 percent against dollar to trade at 65.44.
