Dollar-rupee futures declined on Monday. USDINR April contract moved down 5 paise or 0.08 percent at 62.91 as against previous close of 62.96.
The most active April contract witnessed a high of 63.0075 and a low of 62.8925 after opening at 63.
A total of 0.14 million contracts were traded till 09:30 pm. Turnover for April contract was at Rs 8.87 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 1.40 million.
Indian rupee has depreciated on Monday against US dollar. Indian currency declined 13 paise or 0.21 percent against dollar to trade at 62.55.
