Dollar-rupee futures declined on Thursday. USDINR May contract moved down 4 paise or 0.06 percent at 64.89 as against previous close of 64.93.

The most active May contract witnessed a high of 64.9075 and a low of 64.73 after opening at 64.85.

A total of 0.31 million contracts were traded till 10:17 pm. Turnover for May contract was at Rs20.18 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 0.93 million.

In spot market, rupee has up 3 paise or 0.05 percent against dollar to trade at 64.82.

Local stock markets bounced back on Friday snapping earlier losses. At 10.15 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 240.45 points or 0.79% at 30,675.24 with 20 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 63.40 points or 0.67% at 9,492.85 with 37 components gaining.
