Biocon announced that the USFDA conducted a GMP inspection of its API manufacturing facility at Telangana from December 12, 2018 to December 14, 2018. The inspection concluded without any observations and no Form 483 was issued.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till Dec. 14, 2018, rising 3.43% compared with the Sensex's 2.34% rise. It outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 0.09% as against 5.59% fall in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.15, or 0.8%, to trade at Rs 651.50. The total volume of shares traded was 15,450 at the BSE (9.29 a.m., Monday).
