Baba Arts has received an approval for commencement of new business of import, export, wholesale and retail trading of PVC Resin, HDPE, LDPE, PP and all kinds of plastic raw materials and goods. The board of directors at its meeting held on February 22, 2017 has approved for the same.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till Feb. 22, 2017, rising 11.33% compared with the Sensex's 6.77% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 8.74% as against 11.19% rise in the Sensex.

Baba Arts is an India-based company, which is engaged in providing post production services to entertainment industry in its post-production studio. The company’s principal activities include motion, picture, videotape and television program production services.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.1, or 2.86%, to trade at Rs 3.40. The total volume of shares traded was 15,118 at the BSE (9.57 a.m., Thursday).
