Asian stock markets are trading  higher on Monday. Japan's benchmark index, Nikkei 225 went up 101.58 points or 0.53 percent to trade at 19,387.21.

While China's benchmark index, Shanghai Composite gained 69.88 points or 1.89 percent to trade at 3,760.98.  The index has registered a high of 3,760.98 and a low of 3,710.61 after opening at 3,710.61 (11:10pm EDT).

Hong Kong's Hang Seng gained 396.37 points or 1.62 percent to trade at 24,882.57. The index has recorded a high of 24,886.95 and a low of 24,725.52 after opening at 24,727.46 (11:10pm EDT).

Singapore's Straits Times gained 4.64 points or 0.13 percent to trade at 3,454.74. The index has seen a high of 3,455.92 and a low of 3,440.30 after opening at 3,441.94 (11:05pm EDT).

South Korea's KOSPI went up 6.36 points or 0.31 percent to trade at 2,026.16.  The index has recorded a high of 2,027.27 and a low of 2,018.12 after opening at 2,026.60 (11:05pm EDT).

Taiwan's TAIEX gained 30.83 points or 0.32 percent to trade at 9,534.55.  The index has recorded a high of 9,556.25 and a low of 9,503.53 after opening at 9,533.38 (11:05pm EDT).
