Hong Kong's Hang Seng gained 396.29 points or 1.42 percent to trade at 28,389.12. The index has registered a high of 28,524.60 and a low of 28,309.50 after opening at 28,462.32 (10:28pm EDT).
Singapore's Straits Times went up 1.89 points or 0.05 percent to trade at 3,462.74. The index has recorded a high of 3,464.69 and a low of 3,457.70 after opening at 3,463.92 (10:24pm EDT).
South Korea's KOSPI lost 3.06 points or 0.14 percent to trade at 2,143.04. The index has recorded a high of 2,147.93 and a low of 2,130.30 after opening at 2,146.47 (10:24pm EDT).
