Indian markets gained on Tuesday. At 10.49 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 149.81 points or 0.51% at 29,805.65. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 42.35 points or 0.46% at 9,260.30.

Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were M&M (2.55%), Reliance Industries (1.67%), Bharti Airtel (1.17%), ICICI Bank (1.15%), HDFC (1.06%), Tata Steel (0.99%) and Power Grid Corporation of India (0.98%).

On the other hand, Tata Consultancy Services (0.73%), Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (0.50%), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (0.39%), Wipro (0.26%) and Cipla (0.20%).
