Indian markets ended down on Thursday. At the close, the benchmark 30-share index, BSE Sensex declined 194.39 or 0.60% at 32,389.96 with 26 components registering drop. Meanwhile, the broad based NSE Nifty went down by 64.30 or 0.63% at 10,146.55.

Major losers in the 30-share index were Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (2.00%), ICICI Bank (1.98%), Kotak Mahindra Bank (1.64%), NTPC (1.60%) and Tata Motors (1.45%).

On the other Bharti Airtel (2.06%), Infosys (0.29%), Mahindra & Mahindra (0.26%), and Dr Reddy'S Laboratories (0.14%) were the biggest gainers in the Sensex.

Market breadth was negative with 1,297 advances against 928 declines.
