Zicom Electronic Security Systems witnessed a rise in share price on Thursday after it announced the lunched 'Ziman' a new mobile application aimed at helping women, children and senior citizens in India in any emergency and distress situation.
The new application will be made available exclusively to Samsung mobile phone customers who can download it from the Samsung galaxy Apps Store. The safety application is designed to help susceptible sections of the society to quickly reach out for assistance during an emergency.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 161.20, up Rs 8.4, or 5.50% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 2:19 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 162.10 and low of Rs 153.55. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 46,698.
