Zicom Electronic Security Systems, India's leading electronic and cloud based security solution provider, has entered into a distributor agreement with Bengaluru based Biometronic Technology, a company engaged in research and development and manufacture of products, equipment, accessories, spare parts and software based on iris recognition algorithm of IriTECH USA. IriTECI-I, Inc headquartered in Fairfax, VA (USA) offers superior iris identification technology and products.

Under the agreement, Zicom will be a distributor & solution provider of biomehrmic's IriShield family of products initially for a period of two years which will be manufactured in India by Biometronic under the license from IriTech, Inc. (USA).

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.6, or 0.4%, to trade at Rs 150.50. The total volume of shares traded was 16,562 at the BSE (1.41 p.m., Thursday).
