VRL Logistics, one of the leading pan-India surface logistics and parcel delivery service providers, listed on the bourses on Thursday with a huge premium. Shares of the company got listed at Rs 288 on the NSE that is 40.50% premium to its issue price of Rs 205 a share.

Currently, shares are trading at Rs 292.70, up 42.80% from issue price. It recorded a high of 194.60 and a low of 155.20 at the NSE (10.55 am).

The company owns and operates the largest fleet of commercial vehicles in the private sector in India. It provides general parcel and priority parcel delivery, courier and full-truckload services through its widespread transportation network in 28 States and four Union Territories across India.

Its operational infrastructure for the goods transportation business as of Dec. 31, 2014 comprised 624 branches and 346 agencies across India, and of such 624 branches, 48 served as strategic transshipment hubs for its operations.
