Valecha Engineering, an infrastructure development company, has bagged orders worth Rs 1.57 billion.

Valecha Engineering-Amikonirman Co (JV) bags upgrading, improvement works of Jaleshor-Loharpatti section of Janakpur Parikarma Road at Kathmandu, Nepal worth Rs 198.8 million.

This project is for construction of flyover and underpass at Hero Honda Chowk at km 36.175 on Delhi-Gurgaon section of access controlled highway of NH-8 in the state of Haryana worth Rs 1,380.7 million of NHAL.

As Valecha moves ahead it is focusing on getting an appropriate project mix involving leading edge infrastructure technologies. This will achieve a de-risked business model and increase operational growth.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.95, or 1.32%, to trade at Rs 72.70. The total volume of shares traded was 311,798 at the BSE (2.44 p.m., Wednesday).
