V-Mart Retail, a medium-sized hypermarket retail company, has opened a new store located at Cooch-Behar, in West Bengal. The store is spread in an area of 8,759 sq.ft. This is the second store in the state of West Bengal across 2 cities.

This takes the total number of stores to 115 in 98 cities across 14 states, with 34 composite stores and 81 fashion stores with a total area of approx 9.48 lakhs sq.ft.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1, or 0.2%, to settle at Rs 498. The total volume of shares traded was 479 at the BSE (Monday).
