Universal Cables loss widens in Oct-Dec quarter

Universal Cables said its net loss for the quarter ended December 2014 has widened to Rs 197.50. It reported a net loss of Rs 90.30 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 15.87% to Rs 1,710.00 million, compared with Rs 1,476 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share stood negative at Rs 8.54 compared with negative Rs 3.90 in the same quarter last year.
