Unitech, real estate developer in India, witnessed a sharp fall in share price on Tuesday after after the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) on Monday asked the real estate company to pay buyers compensation at the rate of 12% p.m. for delay in delivery of flats.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 8.13, down Rs 0.44, or 5.13% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 10:13 a.m.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 8.30% to 43,660,061 compared with 22-day average volume of 40,315,496.
