Unichem Laboratories, a leading pharmaceutical company in India, witnessed a rise in share price on Wednesday after
the company received final ANDA approval from USFDA for Memantine Hydrochloride Tablets USP.
Memantine Hydrochloride is an N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist which is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe dementia of the Alzheimer's type.
Shares of Unichem Laboratories are trading at Rs 309.50, up Rs 8, or 2.65% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 2:20 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 315.20 and low of Rs 300.25. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 66,191.
